Before starting this repair work or any other repair work on the faucet, the water supply should be turned off. Replacing the gasket may eliminate noise by sticking it tightly. If the faucet still makes noise, check the gasket seat. The gasket seat may be partially sealed by debris, causing restricted water flow to produce whistling or squeaking sounds. The long scream heard when rotating the faucet handle indicates that the metal threads of the valve core are squeezing the threads of the faucet. Remove the valve core and apply some Vaseline oil to both sets of threads. Its smooth effect should be able to eliminate this noise and make the handle rotate more easily. Of course, if the thread of the valve core or the thread of the faucet body is worn, the effect between them will cause the faucet to vibrate and produce noise. In this situation, simply applying smooth oil is not enough to completely eliminate the noise from the faucet.

Install a new valve core and see if the noise still appears. If there is still noise, then the reason is that the threads of the faucet body are worn out, and the only solution is to replace it with a brand new faucet.
